Alcohol & Pregnancy Don't Mix
As part of our commitment to public safety and the responsible use of alcohol, the LDB actively educates employees and the public about the risks of alcohol use during pregnancy. In addition to a yearly in-store campaign targeted at FAS awareness, the LDB has developed — in consultation with the BC Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Society, and endorsed by the doctors, nurses and midwives of B.C. — brochures and posters containing valuable information about alcohol and pregnancy. These materials are available to BC Liquor Stores customers and health care workers throughout the province.
The brochures and posters on alcohol and pregnancy are available for downloading below or by phoning 604-252-3199. To request original copies of the posters or pamphlets, you may print an FASD materials request fax form then fax the completed form to the Marketing Department at 604-252-3099.
